Main Character in South Beach

in the book South Beach the main character is Alexa, she is one of the popular girls in school . Her school is about to go on spring break , her friends left her behind & now she does not want to spend spring break by herself . Alexa like when everyone has their full attention on her , more like the concided ones . Alexa also has a boyfriend that is in the school football team , her boyfriend wanted to go with her on a trip for spring break . She ends up breaking up with him 3 days before spring break . Alexa decides to call one of her friends & tells her if she could go with them on spring break . Alexa is the type that does not like to be left alone when everyone is having fun without her . Throughout the story i think Alexa learns how to be herself , to not be like others . Alexa learns a lot during the spring break with her friend Holly . Holly was those girls who would be shy around everyone & not care what people say .

South Beach .

this book is about a girl named ... & her school is going into spring break . she's been having a boyfriend & her boyfriend has made plans for them to go on a trip but at the end she breaks up with him 3 days before the trip . she calls her friends to make plans with them , but they go ahead & made plans with other friends . she is left alone for her spring break . she calls her old bestfriend . they havent talked in a long time , she tries to make plans with her old bestfriend . she calls her & the bestfriend is confused on how they havent talked in a long while but now she starts talking to her to make plans for the spring break .

Among the Betrayed .

the main character is a young girl named Nina . she is a third child in a society where familes are allowed to have two children . Nina is in a situtaion where she has to hide from the population police . so far , she has been betrayed by the boy she loved & got arrested by the population police for exposing other third children . she lived with her 2 aunties , they are about the same age as Nina . She has to be faced with the most difficult choice, to get three other prisoners to admit they are shadow children or refuse to do anything & be killed . so far , i think the book is intresting but i would'nt like to read it , i think this book has about the same topic as " Among the Hidden " .

Old Book & New Book.

over the past few weeks i read, tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. i really liked the book because it explains how an old professor gives his last lesson to one of his old students, Mitch. i also liked this book a lot because it says a lot of truth in the story & it is based on a true story in Mitch Albom's life. Mitch was just finshing high school when he was saying goodbye to his old professor. one day Mitch found his old professor walking around & he saw him very old & remembered he said he would keep in touch & now he's seeing how old his professor got. they talked for a while & decided to meet up on Tuesdays. Mitch would see how old he was getting every each week. Morrie gives Mitch his last lesson about life.

the next book i would like to read would be about emotions or based on a true event or story. i think when i read this books it gets me more motivated to read more books about the same topic or the same author. i like to read about true events that had happen before, & i think the theme is easier to find. another reason why i like topics like these because some books really connect with the emotions or feelings the book id trying to express. the next book i might want to read is ' The Five People You Meet In Heaven ' or ' Have A Little Faith ' by Mitch Albom.

The End Of The Relationship.

i find this qoute intresting because in over all what ive read in the book , Leo & Startgirl are in a realtionship, & they hangout every weekend. People so far at their school seem not to talk to them eversince they started hanging out & started to be in a relationship & ever since they kissed. Leo argues & ignores Stargirl . they start talking & resolving everything but, it bugs Leo that Stargirl doesnt care what people say & he thinks that its not right that she only cares what Leo thinks. Leo tries talking to her about stuff & how she could of changed if she had never gone taken homeschooling.

Is She Trustworthy ?

" Then they turn on her . Stargirl is suddenly shunned for everything that makes her different . "

i think this qoute is about or what's going to happen later on in the book , i think that something is going to happen to Stargirl or her friends that want to interview her on the ' Hot Seat ' . i think they are going to depend on something with her that may be important & they want her to keep a secret or keep something hidden by someone . i think they can trust her but at the same time i think they cant . one reason why i think they could count on her is because she has no friends at the meantime & she has no one to tell something to . the other reason that the shouldnt trust her , maybe because she's outspoken she might say it to someone she doesnt know .

Stargirl.

" She's as magical as the desert sky . As strange as her pet rat . As mysterious as her own name . "

when i found this qoute i thought its was very intersting . i thought it was a stranger qoute to compare to a girl , but at the same time this new girl sounds very unqiue on how they compare her to the qoute. when i read along i found it in the 1st chapter of my book. i thought this book was going to be great & i might be able to compare to it . so far i like the book & it is about this unique girl who gets transferred to this new high school .
